Casey’s brand-new cookbook, What Can I Bring? Recipes to Help You Live Your Guest Life reimagines the age-old question every good guest asks. With 75 bright, crowd-pleasing recipes built to share, it’s all about showing up with food that delights and travels well—from dips to desserts and everything in between.

We’ll gather first at Talbott & Arding for a signing, then head to Creative Legion for a cozy potluck meal and conversation with Casey. You’re welcome to attend one event or both!

Upstate Art Weekend at (Creative Legion): Screening & Talk Back of Who’s Behind Black Art with John Campbell and Phillip Collins

A special screening of 𝘞𝘩𝘰’𝘴 𝘉𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘈𝘳𝘵 (@whosbehindblackart), a docu-series directed, written, and produced by John Campbell (@jcintime) that pulls back the curtain on the lives of emerging artists and features the perspectives of curators, archivists, and cultural workers shaping the art world. Screening will be followed by a fireside chat with Phllip Collins (@goodblackart) and John Campbell.

Join us for the Opening Reception for our latest exhibit with Good Black Art (@goodblackart), 𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘮, during Upstate Art Weekend (@upstateartweekend). 𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘮, our second summer exhibition, invites visitors into an immersive environment where domestic space becomes a site of reflection, care, and transformation.

Co-curated by artist and designer Braden A. Hollis (@bootlegballerina) and realized through the spatial design of Pablo Olguin (@eyypablo), this exhibition blends art and design across disciplines into a warm, lived-in environment. From early sketches and brainstorming to furniture, floor plans, and found objects, every piece reveals a creative process rooted in care, intention, and collaboration.
