(Creative Legion) hosted a Mural Party to celebrate the unveiling of three newly commissioned murals by artist Peter Daverington. Inspired by the Hudson River School and painted directly on the walls of our Hudson space, these works transform (Creative Legion) into a living conversation between art, nature, and community.
Hard Palate Opening Reception at (Creative Legion) | Hudson Jazz Festival
(Creative Legion) opened Hard Palate, curated by Tara Foley, during Hudson Jazz Festival’s Sounds Around Town. The exhibition featured nine artists exploring identity, memory, and voice, with live music by Maia Jarrett, Leo Belsky, and Noah Jarrett. On view Oct 3–Dec 5, Hard Palate transformed the gallery into a space for reflection and resonance.
Cookbook Club Potluck at (Creative Legion) | Slow Food Hudson Valley & Talbott & Arding
(Creative Legion) hosted a Cookbook Club Potluck in partnership with Slow Food Hudson Valley and Talbott & Arding, featuring author Casey Elsass and his new cookbook What Can I Bring?. Guests gathered in Hudson, NY for a cozy afternoon of shared dishes, conversation, and community in support of local food justice initiatives.
Waiting Room Exhibition at (Creative Legion) | Good Black Art Summer Residency
(Creative Legion) and Good Black Art presented Waiting Room during Upstate Art Weekend 2025, co-curated by Braden A. Hollis and designed by Pablo Olguin. The weekend included an opening celebration with DJ April Hunt and Mai Vino, plus a Sunday screening and artist talks with John Campbell and Julian Adon Alexander — blending art, film, and conversation in Hudson, NY.
